{"id":976,"date":"2015-10-16T10:43:55","date_gmt":"2015-10-16T09:43:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gennetines.org\/en\/?page_id=976"},"modified":"2024-01-26T12:37:57","modified_gmt":"2024-01-26T11:37:57","slug":"practical-details","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.gennetines.org\/en\/saint-gervais\/saint-gervais-practicalities\/practical-details\/","title":{"rendered":"Practical details"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\">[vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/4&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;952&#8243; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221; border_color=&#8221;grey&#8221; img_link_target=&#8221;_self&#8221; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;3\/4&#8243;][vc_column_text]For efficiency and fairness to artists, organisers and participants, we must respect all timetables.\r\n<h3>Opening hours of the entry booth at Saint-Gervais<\/h3>\r\n<strong>Special Reception opening hours on Friday 5<sup>th<\/sup> August from 3 pm to 11 pm and on Saturday 6<sup>th<\/sup> August from 11 am to 11 pm.<\/strong>\r\n<strong>From August 7<sup>th<\/sup> to 13<sup>th<\/sup> the reception will be open only three times a day :\r\n<\/strong>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li><strong>from 9 am to 11 am ;<\/strong><\/li>\r\n\t<li><strong>from 1 pm to 5 pm ;<\/strong><\/li>\r\n\t<li><strong>from 7 pm to 11 pm.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nOnly during these times will you be able to buy bracelets to enter the festival and camping areas, or meal and drink tickets.\r\n<h3>Meals<\/h3>\r\nThe association serves meals near the dance places. The organisation offers choice, quantity and caters for vegetarians. You can bring your cutlery.\r\nThere are shops and restaurants in Saint-Gervais within a few minutes walk from the festival and others in the neighbouring villages.\r\nMeals are served from 12h30 to 14h and 19h to 20h30.\r\nBreakfast is served between 9h and 10h30.\r\n<h3>Instrument security<\/h3>\r\nThe \u201cconsigne\u201d is a free safe-keeping service for instruments available from 9.30 am in the centre of the festival site.\r\n<strong>We recommend that you personalise the cases<\/strong> on the outside and put your name and address inside.\r\nInstrument storage is open from 9h30 to 4am.\r\n<h3>Bar<\/h3>\r\nThe bar is open from 10 to 3am\r\n<h3>Identification<\/h3>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Everyone on the festival site or campsites or parking areas must wear a festival identification wrist bracelet. Entry will be monitored 24 hours a day, on all parts of the festival sites. You are requested to show the bracelet to the gate personnel each time you enter any part of the festival site and to any of the festival personnel on request.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h3>Smoker<\/h3>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Be watchful, take care of others, do not smoke near dance or meal places.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n<h3>Bags<\/h3>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Do not leave any valuable item in your bags or clothes<\/strong> when you put them down to dance. Moreover, try to personalise them.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h3>Children<\/h3>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The festival site is not designed for the particular needs of children.<\/strong> We therefore ask that all children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children under 18 remain the responsibility of their parents who will be expected to introduce them to the responsibilities of group living and to ensure that they respect the code of conduct of the Bals de l\u2019Europe. They may, if they wish, join the Association.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Parental Authority to be printed, completed, and given to us when you arrive at Gennetines : <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gennetines.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Parental-authorization-form.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Parental Authority.<\/a><\/p>\r\n\r\n<h3>First Aid Booth<\/h3>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It only provides first aid in case of medical emergencies. A list of pharmacies, doctors and hospitals is available. Bring along your first-aid kit as you would do on any holiday.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h3>Medical certificate and insurance<\/h3>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We suggest that you consult a doctor to know if you are able to practice dance during the festival.
